ABOUT THE COATINGS & CORROSION ACADEMY

COATINGS AND CORROSION FORUM

The Coatings and Corrosion Academy is a specially designed forum built to educate decision makers in industries greatly affected by corrosion of steel or other materials. The Academy is a unique combination of brief educational workshops and quick 10-15 minute hands on stations - both designed to enlighten attendees of the dangers, costs, and risks of corrosion.
The Academy is presented by both regular faculty and adjunct faculty of the Finishing Trades Institute of the Mid-Atlantic Region (FTI); a U.S. Department of Education accredited lower division vocational and technical college.
The Academy features opportunities for attendees to obtain Professional Development Hours (PDH's) or Continuing Education Credits (CES's) for AIA Members. Each Academy features vendors and educational displays for participants to peruse at their leisure and each event ends with an attendee raffle; giving everyone the chance to win some very nice prizes.
